ミ☆ oo1 ☆ミ video // action in Celadon

So, I figure that while I'm here making sure Sora and Riku stay in their beds... [She glances to the side as she's expecting to see the door creak open with one of them sneaking out.] ... I should learn how to cook with the foods here. I'm the only one between the three of us that can cook well, so it'd be a good idea, right?

Does anyone have any tips?

[ooc; storm's hitting here pretty hard, so replies may be slow or stop entirely for a bit. ;; Also, she's totally open to people dropping by to say hi or whatever, so. Yeah.]

Oh, definitely! We all come from a tropical island, if that helps tell you what I already know how to cook.

[France beams, visibly brightening.]

That's great! The seafood in this place is very good, and the source of the produce can be traced, unlike livestock produce, which seems to come from somewhere mysterious.

[He pauses, momentarily disconcerted by this train of thought before he shakes it off forcefully to continue.]

How do you normally prepare seafood where you're from?

Usually I bake it or saute it, and it's really good when marinated with coconut milk and lime juice. But I'm guessing that isn't going to be easy to come by, is it?

Lime juice is easy enough to find, although coconut milk is a bit rarer. Have you tried bread coating and frying the fish off? It's good for if you're on the go.

Oh, I've done it once back home, but that sounds like it'd work pretty well here. I'll start doing that, then!
